About these numbers
They come from the register the IEBC published for the 2022 general election — the most recent complete set. Continuous registration has run since, so the 2027 register will be larger; we will replace these figures the day the commission publishes it.
31 of the 1,450 wards have no ward-level figure here, because the commission’s ward file spells them differently from the boundary register and we would rather show nothing than the wrong ward’s number. Their constituency and county totals are unaffected — those are read directly from IEBC’s own files.
The register is a count, not a contact list. It says how many people are registered somewhere. It carries no names, no identity-card numbers and no phone numbers, and neither does Baraza.
