Current candidacy · MCA, Nyathuna Ward
Why are you running for this office?
I am running for MCA because I believe Nyathuna has talented, hardworking people who deserve leadership that listens, represents them and follows through. I want to use my practical experience and understanding of everyday community challenges to champion better roads, water, healthcare, youth opportunities, sports and support for local businesses. Most importantly, I want to promote accountability and ensure residents know how public resources are being used. I am seeking this office to serve, not simply to hold a title.

What are your three priorities?
1.Healthcare & Water — Push for fully functional health facilities, including Gathiga Level 3 Hospital, reliable medicines and services, alongside sustainable water projects. 2.Roads & Infrastructure — Advocate for better feeder roads, drainage, bridges and safe public spaces that connect our homes, schools, farms, businesses and markets. 3.Youth & Economic Opportunity** — Expand opportunities through skills training, sports and talent development, entrepreneurship, support for farmers, women and small businesses.

What specific problem will you address first?
I will start with access to reliable basic services, particularly healthcare and water. These directly affect families every day and can have immediate consequences for health, livelihoods and quality of life. My first focus will be identifying gaps in existing facilities and projects, pushing for completion and proper resourcing, and ensuring residents can track progress and public resources.

What will you do differently from the current officeholder?
I will focus on practical, measurable and transparent representation. I want residents to have regular opportunities to raise concerns, follow ward projects and understand how public resources are being used. Rather than making broad promises, I will document priorities, track implementation, communicate progress and use my role in the County Assembly to advocate, legislate and exercise oversight on issues affecting Nyathuna.
