Why are you running for this office?
I am running for the office of MCA because I have seen a gap between the leadership our community deserves and the leadership many residents feel they are experiencing. I believe our people deserve greater accountability, transparency, meaningful representation and leaders who listen to their concerns. I have a vision and a dream to serve my community, create opportunities for our youth, advocate for reliable water, better roads, improved drainage, accessible bursaries, and fair treatment for sand harvesters and quarry workers. My ambition is not simply to hold a political office. It is to become a voice for the people, to question what is not working, to demand accountability in the use of public resources, and to ensure that residents participate in decisions affecting their lives. I believe leadership is a responsibility, not a privilege. My dream is to see a Maai Mahiu where every village matters, every voice is heard, and development reaches the people who need it most. I am David Mbuthia Ng’ang’a, and I am stepping forward with a vision to serve, a commitment to listen, and a determination to work for the future of Maai Mahiu Ward
